The main library will be open for curbside service only, 11 am -3 pm Saturday, February 5, 2022.  The Laurelville Branch will be closed, as it normally is on Saturdays.  Please be patient with us, as we are very short-staffed, and you may likely have to wait a little while, but we will try to serve you as fast and efficiently as we can!  You can help us by reserving your materials by logging in to our catalog.  To log in, use your library card as your username, and your password is

Korean Lotus Lantern Workshop

The library will be offering a hybrid virtual/in-person Korean Lotus Lantern Workshop.  The workshop will take place at the library's meeting room from 5:00 - 6:15 PM on Thursday, October 6th.  We will connect virtually with representatives from the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project (KSCPP), and they will guide us on creating our Korean Lotus Lantern, using colorful paper and wire frames. After the craft session, short documentaries about Korean culture will be presented.

Local author Cameron Vance has just published her first children's book titled, "Up, Up and Beyond." She will be telling her inspiring story and reading her book at the Logan Library on Tuesday, May 24th from 5:30PM to 6:30PM.

Families and children of all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Free Lunch for Kids Under 18!

From June 6th through July 29th library is serving free lunches for kids under the age of 18, sponsored by the Hocking Athens Perry Community Action. 

In Logan we will be serving lunch from Noon - 1:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays in the meeting room at the Main Library Branch.  Please use our Walnut Street entrance to enter and exit the building. Lunch will be served from 11:00 AM-Noon on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Arts Building at the Fairgrounds.

Parents, Grandparents and Caretakers-please join us at 2 PM on Tuesday, June 7th at the library's meeting room to for light refreshments and the program "Summer Safety for Your Littles", presented by the Hocking Valley Community Hospital.  Speaker Adrienne Nihiser, NP will give you great tips on how to keep your precious Littles safe this summer.
