Raccoon Creek Partnership is providing FREE self-guided activity kits. Pre-registration is required.  Activities will involve macroinvertebrates and birds. Enjoy learning about wildlife with our activity kits filled with everything you'll need to do multiple fun crafts and activities!  To order your kit, call or stop by the library and give us your name and telephone number.  Kits should arrive around May 12th-14th.  We will call you when they are here.

The Logan-Hocking County District Library is building a Pavilion at the Laurelville Branch located at 16240 Maple Street Laurelville, OH 43135. This project consists of Construction of a wood frame pavilion behind the Laurelville Branch Pavilion. This project has four (4) add alternates consisting of: Concrete Floor, Electrical Supply Receptacles and Lighting, Lockable Folding Furniture Storage Room, and Paint. This project is not considered prevailing wage.

Due to icy roads, icy sidewalks, and the impending single digit weather tonight, both branches of the library are closing the library at 5 pm for the safety of our patrons and staff.  We are sorry if this causes any incovenience.  Both branches will resume regular hours Wednesday.   

The Logan-Hocking Library will be closed Thursday, December 24, 2020 - Saturday, January 2, 2021 for the holiday season. We will resume curbside service only on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Sorry for any inconvenience.

National Library Week: Reading Poster Contest
This contest is for all ages. We have broken ages up as follows: 2-10, 11-18, 18+
The contest is simple. Use what you have around and make a poster about reading, or about why you love your library. Please include age on poster.
Submit a photo of your poster below, and we will find an outside business or organization to judge the posters. Please submit the poster by this Friday.

The regular board meeting of the Logan-Hocking Library's Board of Trustees will be taking place on Monday, June 17th at 5:30pm.

The meeting will be held at the Laurelville Branch.
