How to Obtain Free At-Home COVID-19 Test Kits

At various times, the library has free At-Home COVID test kits that can only be picked up by scheduling a curbside pickup.  Call the library at 740-385-2348 to schedule your appointment.  If we are out of tests, it will be announced on the library's phone greeting, and you will see a "Not Available" graphic on this article on the library website home page. You can follow us on Facebook or Instagram to receive a notification when we receive more tests.

Whether the library has tests or not, we advise you to order your free test kits from the United States Postal Service (USPS).  Each household can receive up to 24 free test kits by going to the webpage special.usps.com/covidtests and filling out the online order form (it is free, and no credit card is required).  You can only order 8 in one "round", but you easily order a second and third round by clicking the order more button.  You can also pick up tests at local retail sites, with the ability to get reimbursement with proof of insurance.  Call the retailer for details.
