The Library is accepting applications for a new Trustee to complete a term whose expiration is September 2028. As part of a library trustee board, trustees serve on a volunteer basis, and are appointed either by a Hocking County Court of Common Please Judge or the Hocking County Commissioners; this vacant seat will be appointed by the Hocking County Commissioners. Trustees are tasked with the duty of helping to direct the funds and policies of the library, and to abide by the Board of Trustees Code of Regulations.
Interested candidates should submit a resume and a cover letter highlighting the reasons they are interested in becoming a library trustee, and a summary of skills that could be helpful to the board. Submission can be via email, mail or dropping off at the library to:
